Theory Classes ::
At Quantum Aviation we offer fully comprehensive ground courses for both Helicopter and Aeroplane Licences, from PPL level right up to Instructor levels.
Flight training requires study and retention, in both the practical skills as well as theory. Your Instructor’s pre-flight briefings and the actual air exercise cover the practical component of your flight training, but you can choose to self study or be part of a set course for the theoretical component*.
Our ground courses for both PPL and CPL level exams run continuosly throughout the year, and are taught ONLY by fully qualified Flight Instructors (not just Commercial Pilots). Rather than just boring lectures, in our classrooms you will be taught using up to date interactive technology, to help make classes fun as well as relevant. We aim to teach students with vareid learning styles and capabilities. Your progress is monitored constantly by way of progress tests and mock exams, so that if you are struggling with a certain subject we can determine this easily and help you to stay on track.
Self study iin allocated classrooms is also available, and works for some, but not all students – for many reading the book is insufficient. A Quantum Aviation theory class can offer many advantages:
- Ensures ALL material is covered for the exam
- The latest material is being taught
- Material is explained thoroughly
- You can ask questions and receive answers to problems immediately
- You will learn the practical reasoning behind the theory and how it will pertain to your flight training
- Meet with other students and discuss ideas and impart knowledge
- Practice with progress tests and mock exams before the 'real' exam
Night classes are also available at PPL level throughout the year, and are a great way to progress through your training whilst working full time.
Students can also opt to book “One on One” time with an Instructor*, on a basis that suits their timetable and requirements. This can be used to supplement self-study or as an alternative way of learning.
