Professional Pilot Training ::

Our full-time professional pilot training courses are designed for students who are actively seeking a career in aviation. Both courses are New Zealand Qualifications (NZQA) approved. At the end of your stage 1 and stage 2 courses, you will hold:

• PPL
• CPL
• MeIR and/or C-Category Instructor Rating

Training commences in a PA-38 or C152 then moves to a PA-28 or C172 – types of aircraft that you can expect to fly during your first years of employment in NZ as a pilot.

Our schools operate on domestic scheduled airports and are only minutes from Auckland Airport, giving exposure to all types of flying – uncontrolled, controlled, domestic and international.

Professional Pilot Training - Stage 1 (PPT1) A full time course that includes a minimum of 100 hours single-engine flight time, 65 of which must be as Pilot in Command. Read more…

Professional Pilot Training - Stage 2 (PPT2) A full time course that includes a minimum of 100 hours flight training over and above Stage 1 plus Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (15 hours single/ 15 hours multi), C Category Instructor Rating (26 hours single-engine dual training) and the Commercial Pilot Licence Flight Test.
