Immigration ::

Student visa

If you are going to study in New Zealand, you will need to apply for a student visa.
Quantum Aviation is more than happy to help with the required forms and paperwork for this
process if you are already in New Zealand. If you are still in your home country please check
the NZ Immigration website for further information. Quantum will need to supply you with a
‘letter of offer’ to study with us, this will only be issued once we are satisfied that you have met all the
entry requirements.

You also will need to obtain/prove the following:

It is also advisable at this point to get a Traffic and Criminal History Report done from each country that you have lived in for more than 6 months in the last 5 years, to bring with you to New Zealand. These reports are necessary to hold a Pilot’s licence in New Zealand, and may be difficult to obtain once you leave your home country.

Full details of visa and permit requirements, advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting requirements are available through the New Zealand Immigration Service, and can be viewed on the New Zealand Immigration Service website.
