B Category Instructor Rating (B Cat) ::

This 6 week course includes the B Cat Flight Test and B Cat Theory Course.
Flight training hours required will be decided according to individual requirements.
It is generally felt that a minimum of 10 hours is adequate to upgrade to B Cat,
however extra hours are available by request if required.

Qualification gained:
B Category Instructor Rating

Entry requirements:
Commercial Pilot Licence
C Category Instructor Rating (NZ)
Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
Experience acceptable to the director of Civil Aviation Authority (NZ)

Start Date: Commencement date by mutual agreement

Notes:

• Flight Training in excess of these hours required to meet CAA standards will be charged at standard rates

Other costs include:

• Landing fees and Airways charges
• All medical examinations
